A large part of what makes Bruno’s so great is its hardworking, friendly staff. As a way to show our appreciation, we like to feature our employees individually. This time, we’d like to highlight Kelsey Herrick.
Kelsey has been a part of the Bruno’s team for the last two-and-a-half years. She can be seen serving Bruno’s guests their favorite dishes or preparing a refreshing drink at the bar.
For Kelsey, there are two main reasons why working at Bruno’s is a great experience: the regular customers she is able to interact with and the family she works for, the Napolitanos.
“The regulars and my co-workers make it seem like I’m not even working,” says Kelsey. “I’ve built relationships from working at Bruno’s that I hope to carry throughout my life.”
When Kelsey is not on the clock, she likes trying new dishes and beverages while exploring Portland’s bustling food scene. But when it comes to Bruno’s, she goes with any of the delectable pasta dishes on the menu.
And she also enjoys giving back to her community. Currently, Kelsey is training for July’s Tri for a Cure, a triathlon benefiting the Maine Cancer Foundation.
